Healing from Trauma Through Our Unique Programme

Our highly popular and effective “Reclaim Your Life from Trauma” programme involves unlocking your emotions and thoughts which are tied to traumatic experiences. This programme is carefully designed to help you manage and heal your trauma one step at a time. Trauma can manifest in many ways, so we have created this programme to be flexible and adaptable to any situation.


The is tailored to support your recovery by incorporating 12 trauma-based group sessions with 12 fitness classes ranging from Classical Reformer Pilates to Yoga and Stretch-Therapy.


The programme is available to those who have been involved in a road traffic accident, suffered historical or prolonged abuse and loss of loved ones.

Structure and Personalisation



The Trauma Recovery Programme lasts 12 weeks and each session will occur on a weekly basis. Prior to starting your programme, you will begin with a personalised assessment, which includes a mental and physical health evaluation. The assessment will take place in the presence of both a mental health and physical health specialist under one roof. This ensures that all of your goals are met during the programme.



During the initial assessment, you will identify your key stress triggers as a result of the trauma you have suffered, behavioural triggers and physical fitness levels to create a bespoke plan.


Our mental and physical health specialists will continuously monitor you over the weeks to make any necessary adjustments to your care plan.



If necessary, 1-2 months after successfully completing your programme, you will be entitled to have a follow up session which will reconsolidate the techniques and tools learnt during your recovery. We understand that recovery isn’t always linear, so it’s important that you don’t fall back into negative coping mechanisms.



Techniques and Benefits



The trauma-based group sessions will take place weekly. They will help to create a safe and reliable space for you to gain tools to manage your triggers and recover.


Trauma is often stored in the body, not just in thoughts and emotions. This is why mindful movements such as Reformer Pilates, Yoga and Stretch-Therapy can create a deeper and more lasting healing. Trauma can often cause dissociation and numbness within the mind and body, so reformer Pilates helps to ground the mind and build a safe and strong connection between the mind and body. Each movement within mindful exercise promotes deep focus and concentration.



Both Yoga and Stretch-Therapy enhance emotional regulation and mindfulness. They both regulate and relax your nervous system.



Results and Recovery Outcomes



Our clients will find themselves with a higher self esteem, they will experience an increase in emotional and physical resilience and will notice a significant reduction in physical pain. The programme will allow you to become more comfortable sharing your experiences which in turn increases your emotional resilience. Your weekly fitness classes will build up your physical strength and resilience. Your mind and body are always connected, so emotional trauma often results in physical pain. Being able to release emotional stress can reduce physical pain.
