TheraFit 7-Week Programme

Emotion Management

This programme is developed for those who experience intense emotions, offering support through 5 sessions of Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) and 5 group sessions of Yoga. You will learn to manage and understand your emotions more effectively.
What Happens in Your Sessions:

Prior to starting your programme, you will begin with a personalised assessment, including a mental and physical health evaluation.
 
During this assessment, you will identify your key stress triggers, behavioural patterns, physical fitness levels and goals to create a tailored plan. 

You will start the Emotion Management programme running on a weekly basis. In addition, you will be allocated to one of our specialists who will continuously monitor your progress and make necessary adjustments to your care plan.
 
If needed, you will be offered a follow-up session in 1-2 months.
On Successful Completion, You Will:
  • Develop new strategies to focus on accepting uncomfortable emotions
  • Learn grounding techniques via Yoga
  • Learn how DBT, in conjunction with Yoga, teach you to be present, focus on your breathing and bodily sensations
  • Learn how to remain present in a stressful situation
  • Reinforce mindfulness both cognitively (through DBT exercises and somatically (through yoga practice)
  • Reduce the intensity of your emotions
